Privacy and cookies

This page explains how information is used when you plan an event with FLANKER.

Your event enquiry

Your name, email address and event type are needed to review and respond to your enquiry. Date, venue, guest count and message are optional. These details are used to discuss availability, prepare a proposal and follow up on your event. The form does not subscribe you to a mailing list.

This processing is based on the pre-contractual steps you request. Preventing abusive submissions is based on FLANKER’s legitimate interest in securing the form: a daily-changing hash of the IP address is used to limit repeated submissions.

Recipients and retention

FLANKER receives your enquiry. The hosted database and email provider Resend are used to retain the request and notify FLANKER by email. Access to enquiry management is restricted to the site owner. Your data is not sold.

The planned retention period for the enquiry copy in the website inbox is three years from receipt. FLANKER has a filter for enquiries reaching this date and a manual deletion function, to be reviewed monthly. You can request earlier erasure when the information is no longer needed. Contracts, invoices and documents needed for legal obligations are kept separately for the applicable periods. Deleting an enquiry from the website does not automatically remove emailed copies or technical backups, which must also be considered when handling an erasure request.

Technical providers may process information outside the European Union. Processing locations and transfer arrangements depend on the services used; you can request further details from FLANKER.

Cookies and privacy choices

Essential navigation, security and storage of your privacy choices remain available. Google analytics and advertising tools, when configured, are loaded only after you accept at least one of those purposes. You can accept analytics without advertising, or reject both.

  • Analytics: page visits, listening and contact requests, using Google Analytics.
  • Advertising: conversion measurement and ad personalisation, using Google Ads.

Your choice is stored in this browser for 180 days. You can change it at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent an enquiry. Your name, email and form message are not included in tracking events sent by the website.

Music and external services

Site videos are hosted directly and do not load an external advertising player. A SoundCloud player is loaded when you choose a recording; SoundCloud then receives connection information and applies its own privacy policy. Closing the player removes it from the page.

WhatsApp and social links open external services governed by their own terms. Clicking a contact link does not automatically send a message.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your data and, where applicable, portability or object to processing. You can withdraw tracking consent at any time. Contact: contact@flankerdj.com.
